We are all GO!
Junior Rugby will start on Saturday 27th June.
There will be two games before breaking for the July school holidays. The season will then resume after the holidays and run through to Saturday September 26th.
What team am I in and when do I practice?
Team lists were sent to coaches and managers today and they will be contacting you in the next few days to let you know what team you are in and when you will be practising. If you have not heard from your coach or manager by June 12th please contact us and we can follow-up but not before.
2020 Player Subscriptions
Due to the reduced season we have reviewed the player subs and these will now be $70.
If you have not paid your subs yet please pay $70 online and include your child’s name as a reference.

Thank you for your support – it is greatly appreciated.
Contact Tracing

Contact tracing is required for Eden to resume training and playing. Auckland Rugby Union is using IDME as it links with our registration system. Goto IDME and check it out;
https://www.idme.co.nz
Log on, get your individual QR code, then every time you attend training, a game or come down to the club tag in or enter the specific code for your location.
We are all required to do this and is part of our agreement with ARU that allows us to train and play rugby. Please take the time to learn about IDME and get your own QR code.
Visit the IDME page on the Eden website for more information and the specific codes for the club and our training and playing grounds.

Coaches and managers will be briefed on the procedures and will be able to provide further information once we get underway.
The Club Merchandise shop will be open to purchase club apparel and supporters gear on the days below. You can also purchase over the bar at any time, please ask Greg for help.
Saturday 6th June 9-10.30am

COVID-19 Club Rugby Update 05/06/2020
Kia ora,
CLUB RUGBY IS BACK!
Auckland Rugby is ecstatic to be just around the corner from Club Rugby for 2020. Thank you to all clubs for the hard graft that has gone into the last couple of weeks of preparation. The work completed by you all is nothing short of amazing!
Todays Club Update will cover the following;
- 2020 Start Dates
- Coaching
- Alert Level 1
Club Rugby Start Dates Confirmed
Goodyear Dunlop Senior Rugby season dates have been set and PIC Junior Rugby Registrations are back underway. Watch Mitre 10 Cup Head Coach - Alama Ieremia announce the season dates.
Coaching
Please encourage all your coaches to register through your club links, so that we can invite them to the relevant online learning platforms available to complete their registration.
Rugby Smart will be Zoom meetings (times TBC), and Small Blacks will be Google Classroom Online Modules. We encourage managers and other volunteers to register, too, so that they can have access to the learning content available.
Alert Level 1
The Government will make another big announcement concerning Alert Levels this coming Monday, 8 June. We wait patiently for this and will provide any clarity through an update post the announcement.
2020 thus far has delivered several curveballs, wrong’uns, googlies, goose steps, and banana kicks. The collaboration, consultation, and comradery that has been shown by the community have been very encouraging. Auckland Rugby is exceptionally proud to represent all of our clubs and cannot wait to see the pigskin being thrown around again in the coming weeks. These uncertain times have reminded us of how central our game is to our health and wellbeing, and simply how much fun it is. We encourage you all to carry on the positive behaviours we have all adopted over the past two months.
Thank you all for your patience, and good luck with your final preparations. Go well. Have fun!
